Here Comes The Night Beautiful Stranger *chapter 3*

"I really dont see why i need to come with you, its nice of you to offer me a job and every thing sis but i..." 

"Please sis it will give us a chance to spend time together besides we can catch up and see what each other is missing out on huh" Shelbey smiled. shaking her head she hated when her sister did that looking at her like that she never could say no to her little sister she loved her and she would die for her & Twyla they were the only ones left in her life she give a shit about. well them n their husbands and Shelbey's daughter Angel. 

"Ok your on you win ill come work with you yeah" smiles you know i could never say no to you besides it would get that old .."
"Kayleigh" Shelbey looked up at her sister as if to say please stop. "look i know what they are like god i could strangle them both my self at times but their not here its just you and me and Twyla will be popping in with Richie anyway" she smiled lovingly at her sister. 

getting out the the car Kayleigh looked up at her new work place. 

"This is where you work" she smiled looking at the bar and gazed around walking in.

"Sure well me and Twyla opened it but with Twyla being pregnant i told her i could manage on my own she still pops in from time to time but it can get stressful at times and well she doesnt need it you know"
"Oh yh i know" Kayleigh smiled. "So where do you want me to start "
"Well if you could just make sure that everything is looking good you know just a quick look over n then you can start serving its just the two of us" Shelbey informed her getting her stuff hung up and waited round the bar.

"Everything is as good as" she reported walking round the room double checking everything making sure everything was ready for the guests.

"Now we wait" Shelbey smiled sitting on the stool. "oh hey sis i got a uniform that you would look great in we usually get the staff to wear em when they help out but it would be fun"
"Its nothing stupid is it?" Kayleigh asked turning to look at her sister.

"Nope shorts and a top saying suck me fuck me eat me raw" Shelbey laughed.

Turning to look at her sister Kayleigh stood open mouthed at her sister. "Excuse me"

"Jon's idea for the writing he thought it would be amusing" she laughed.

"Oh he did did he?" shaking her head she walked into the hall way. "Erm sis where are they?"
"Back room up stairs right at the end of the landing" Shelbey laughed trying to picture her sisters face when she seen it. seeing the door open Shelbey looked up to see a tall blonde hair blue eyed man walk in with a few of his friends

"Damn if i wasnt married" she muttered waving to him. "Hey john how are ya?" she asked calling them over.

"I'm good thank you, first time in a while i seen your smile that big" he laughed. "Won the lottery?"
"Chance to be a fine thing no but i got something better, i have my sister home again and shes working here so you never know she will get to meet her" she smiled "What can i get you guys the usual?"

"Sure why not" he smiled before joining his friends again. 

opening the door of the room Kayleigh looked round a little confused. "What the... room? sis its a glorified supplies cupboard" she muttered to her self. picking up her sisters box that had MAKE UP writing on it she opened it up and started applying it and then pushed her hair back trying to think of how she was gonna ware it she eventually she settled on putting half it up and leaving the other half down. taking her clothes of she quickly changed into the shorts and thats when she seen the top. "Oh hell no im not wearing that" she cringed looking disgusted. "What kind of bar do you run here sis" she asked herself looking at her self in the mirror as she put the top on. there was a huge rip right across where her breasts were was that even supposed to be there, any lower down and... omg there was no where she was wearing that for the whole day. 

walking back down stairs she looked at her self one last time then walked in to the bar. 

"Eh sis what the hell is this?" trying not to laugh shelbey looked at her sister. 

"Well what do you think?" hearing the sound of Shelbey's sisters voice John looked up from the table where he was sitting and glanced over to both woman getting his eyes on Kayleigh his glass slipped from between his fingers as he sat there staring at her he couldnt even hear Joey his best friend talking to him telling him to get a cloth because he had dropped it braking it all over the floor.

hearing the smash Kayleigh looked up forgetting the fact that she was wearing  a top that might as well have been a ripped piece of cloth round her chest she grabbed a cloth and pan and brush from under the bar n walked over not even bothering to look at the fact that five pair of eyes was now glued on her. getting up she still took no notice of the men walked round the back put the broken glass in the bin and ran right back up stairs to get changed again.

"Who the hell was that" John called over to Shelbey.
"That was my sister John Kayleigh you know the oldest out the 3 of us shes not far from you age i think" she smiled seeing the interest in her friends eyes. 

"Shes stunning where the hell she been hiding" John asked getting up and walking over to her.
"Another one?" she offered. "Shes been living in New York these past god knows how many years"
"She married or seeing anyone?"
"Widowed her husband died a few year ago shes been living on her own since n been pushing everyone away since then but now shes back i hope she can open up again and become the fun loving sister the happy go lucky bubbly girl i grew up with" 

walking back into the room now changed she looked at her sister.

"Hey sis is it...." catching the sight of John out the corner of her eye she stopped in mid sentence and turned to look at him falling quiet she locked eyes with him going red in the face.
"John i would like you to meet my sister Kayleigh this is John, John Norum hes a really good friend of mine and the guys over their are part of a band they are in" she smiled nudging her a little further towards from.
"Hi" he smiled warmly holding out his hand for her.

"Hello John" Kayleigh whispered to scared to speak up, feeling the words choke up on her she froze still with her hand in his.
"well then" Shelbey smiled. "what time you guys leaving"
"Not for another few days we done with our touring for now but you know your always welcome to come visit" he smiled. "well i hear Joey is in England now but you are more than welcome to still come visit us i dont even think Joey would mind" he assured her.
"Why dont you come round to night my dad is having a BBQ come round it will give you and the guys a chance to hang before you fly back to Sweden and the UK" she offered.

"great idea hun see you tonight what time?" John asked.

"Say 6- 7ish" Shelbey Smiled.

"See you then it was nice meeting you Kayleigh i hope to see you tonight" John hinted on at Kayleigh

Nodding she quickly turned and ran back into the back and made her way down to the cellar. all the way thru the work Shelbey watched her sister working her ass off collecting glasses pouring pints and serving up the food, smiling proudly at her she waited untill the bell was rang and evey one was out and locked up. 

"Wow Kayleigh you done well sis im proud of ya"
"Thanks Shelbey" i'm glad i make some on proud of me" smiles a little and puts her arm round her little sister walking home. 

"Were all proud of you sis were all worried about you too"
"Mom and dad arent they hate me because i didnt turn out perfect like you too gunner wasnt loaded like Jon or Richie he was different and he wasnt a snob like them too"
"Hey rich and jon arent snobs"
"I didnt mean that sis i mean them if people dont live up to there expectations or if they dont like the look of them their pure evil and so i disappointed  them because i fell in love with a tattooed man who had a troubled past i hate people that are so bloody judgemental its just not fair" 

Stopping in the middle of the street as Kayleigh continued to keep walking Shelbey grabbed hold of her hand and pulled her back. "Me jon, Twyla and Richie have never judged you or Gunner we loved you and excepted the both of you for the way you were me and Twyla saw how much he loved you and we were just as sad as you were when he died we thought he was a good man, sis what the hell does it matter what mom and dad think it was your heart that he held in his hands and his you held in yours nobody could ever change the fact that the love you to had was real and what mom and dad couldnt get over was you stuck by gunner all the way and didnt back down when he tried to get you to leave him. now if thats not some thing to be proud of then i dont know what is" pulling her sister close she hugged her tightly.

finishing off getting ready Kayleigh heard the door go pulling her dress down properly, she walked out onto the landing. walking down the stairs she was just in time to see the men from the bar walk thru out to the front where the lake was. walking thru and out side she ignored the men and walked over to her sisters and hugged them both. Sitting down on the little pier she took her shoes off and dipped her feet in the water looking out over the lake as the sun set in the distance. seeing her on her own John made his way slowly over to her and sat down.

"Beautiful night huh?" he asked making her jump out her skin. "sorry love i didnt mean to make you jump" 

"Its fine" she smiled" had a good time tonight?" she asked not taking her gaze from the distance.

"Yes thank you, i never got to talk to you much tho" he replied blushing.

"Well your talking to me now" she smiled at him turning to look in his eyes.

"Yeah we are arent we" he returned her glance then quickly looked out over the lake. "I heard about your husband im sorry about that"
"thank you, no body cares any way coz he wasnt what my mom and dad approved of" she told him.

Feeling like a fool John went quiet and looked down. seeing his reaction she nudged him gently to get his attention back. 

"Hey relax its fine .... John is it? its ok i hardly talk about it to any one and you didnt know so its fine" she smiled assuringly

"Thanks ill just stay quiet until you decide your gonna tell me what you want eh?" he laughed. looking up at him he reminded her so much of the Gunner was letting a smile run across her face she smiled up at him till he turned to look at her then looked away again.
"So i was just ...."
"Hey john come on dude were away now" Joey called from the waters edge.

"I'm really sorry i need to go but i hope we get to see each other again before i have to leave for home i mean if you would like to"
"Sure why not i would like that John" she smiled up at him 

"Great ill call you we can maybe do something to..."
"John i..."
"As friends then" he smiled.
"sure" waving she watched as he walked off the beautiful stranger that she had only just met there was something about him that got her hooked but what was it. would she go back to see him again it was only as friends after all. sitting on the end of the pier she couldnt get her head around what was so familiar about him she had no idea who he was but their was something there that was there making her think she had known him for years but he was nothing but a stranger. that night as she slept his warm smile beautiful eyes haunted her but she didnt care.

Her beautiful stranger she wanted to see him again and find out what it was about him waking up with a start something cut thru that made her shiver looking at the clock she lay back down and looked at the wall in front of her and lay looking at the wall in front of her thoughts going thru her mind like crazy as she lay silent in the dark
